As a professor, I was part of teaching teams at renowned universities in Bogotá, Colombia, such as Universidad Politecnico Grancolombiano, Unversidad Agustiniana, Universidad San Martin, Universidad Antonio Narino, focusing on development, education, teaching, and learning.
My commitment to educational excellence and the promotion of an inclusive and dynamic environment have been fundamental in my teaching practice, always aimed at aligning my work with the mission and vision of each institution.
I have dedicated my career to making a positive impact on student’s lives, sharing my knowledge and skills to enrich the university environment and promote educational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications: Bilingual Educator with a Multicultural Approach
- Master’s degree in International Relations, closely related to Bilingual Education.
- Fluency and proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Experience in teaching, research, and service, has prepared me to contribute to the university’s commitment to the dreams and professional goals of culturally diverse students from all regions of Colombia.
- Willingness to teach a wide range of courses at all levels and modalities, including undergraduate and graduate levels.
Preferred Qualifications: Profile: Bilingual Educator with a Multicultural Approach
- Ability to integrate multicultural and social justice perspectives into the curriculum and classroom discussions, especially on topics relevant to Hispanic/Latin history and culture.
- Fifteen (15) years of teaching experience at the elementary and secondary levels.
- Experience in university-level teaching.
- Eligibility for or possession of a valid teaching certificate for any state or territory in the U.S.
- Experience in teaching Spanish as a native language.
- Experience working with a wide range of ages, diverse populations, and in rural settings, as well as in leadership and collaboration in the accreditation of programs/departments.
- Experience with distance, hybrid, face-to-face, and online educational systems such as Computer Managed Learning (CML), Computer Assisted Instruction (Duolingo, Rosetta Stone, Codecademy, IXL), and Synchronous Online Learning.
- Experience in curriculum assessment, development, and improvement.
- A history of promoting inclusivity in classrooms and academic work environments.
- Involvement in research groups, serving as an academic peer and judge in the evaluation of other teachers’ work, focusing on economic development and social engagement.
- Ability to mentor and educate students to serve diverse populations.
